Patience and persistence leads to P450 code being cracked
Show Notes

A group of researchers led by Heping Han from AHRI, including researchers from Bayer and Zhejiang University in China have identified the P450 gene responsible for cross resistance to herbicides of at least five modes of action. The gene is CYP81A10v7. Paper author, Prof Steve Powles joins us in this AHRI Snapshots to provide a history of this research and what the finding means in both a fundamental and practical sense. AHRI recently published a paper on this and last week Peter Newman wrote an AHRI insight on it. You can read the insight here: https://ahri.uwa.edu.au/weve-cracked-the-p450-code/________________________________________________________Podcast Presenter & Producer: Jessica Strauss
